Top10DatingSites.co.uk was launched in 2007, and is an online comparison guide to dating and matchmaking sites in the UK.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide you with unbiased reviews, dating advice and the latest dating site offers to help you choose the right dating site for you from the proliferation of dating sites on the Internet today. Our list of dating sites is ranked in strict order by their popularity score (Alexa Traffic Rank) which is updated weekly and we don't own or manage any of the dating sites that we list on this website.

Our criteria for listing dating sites

We constantly monitor the dating sites on our website and only list those sites that have passed our minimum criteria as set out below:

1. There must be a large enough number of active members, which we primarily base on the site's UK alexa rating, so customers can have a reasonable chance of finding a match. This criteria will vary depending on whether it is a general dating site or niche dating site which we would expect to have fewer members.
2. There should be a means of customer support. For example: email, telephone and FAQ's.
3. Security of members must be taken seriously. There should be a means of reporting or blocking any inappropriate behaviour from other members and include reporting fake profiles.
4. It should not be difficult to cancel your membership.
5. We don't list sites that we believe may be acting in a fraudulent manner.

How we make money

We don't charge you any fee for using our service. We do have an affiliate relationship with a proportion of the dating sites that we list but not all of them. This means that for some of the dating sites in our list, when a customer registers on their site with we get a small commission payment. This does not affect our bias in anyway as to how we list or review the dating sites on our website.
